Kiwanians were out in force serving lemonade and cold water to the many Caldwellians in support of the Annual Ice Cream Social at the Grover Cleveland Birthplace historic site.
Since 1923 the Kiwanis Club of Caldwell-West Essex has offered personal growth through its involvement in West Essex community activities. It is an outstanding model of friendship and volunteerism in action with a wide range of occupations and age groups geared towards maintaining a community to be proud of and raise our children. Focused on youth, our activities help them learn basic life skills, hands-on project management, teamwork, how to create and preserve a tangible community while gaining a sense of citizenship. Our Kiwanis Club sponsors Builder’s Clubs at the regions three middle schools; Key Clubs at the three high schools and a Circle K Club at Caldwell College. Thousands of youngsters learn how they can contribute to the community in which they live. While Kiwanis is in over 96 countries we are focused on West Essex.
